This artful space in the heart of Vancouver, Canada's Gastown neighbourhood is loft living at its finest. Located in the coveted Terminus building, the home was designed by award-winning architecture firm Acton Ostry, and features an open-concept layout that blends contemporary interiors with the building's original heritage facade.

Formerly the Terminus Hotel, the original structure was built in 1901 as an early mixed-use building in historic Gastown. Constructed in 1889, the adjacent Grand Hotel was built three years after the Great Fire devastated Gastown in 1886.

Completed in 2008, the Terminus + Grand project combines the two heritage buildings into a single 5,250 square metre rehabilitation and expansion development, with retail spaces at the ground level and residential use above.

This rare 2 level, 2 bedroom loft flows seamlessly, incorporating European design, concrete steps, 16-foot ceilings, and beautiful retained bay windows to create an impressive and unique space.

In keeping with its revitalization, the home also boasts multiple built-in storage units, a linear kitchen design with Bosch and Miele appliances, stainless steel countertops, and a geothermal heating and cooling system.

The project was designed by Acton Ostry Architects, with interior design services provided by Evoke International, and it features fun, quirky artwork and sleek accessories that give the home a quintessentially Gastown vibe.
