A new addition and extensive remodeling completely transformed the kitchen, dining, and living room of this house. Previously, a covered patio adjoining the original kitchen kept light from coming in and cut off views to the outside. The patio was converted into interior space, providing room for a generous new light-filled kitchen and dining space. New windows and a large sliding door provide expansive views out onto North Table Mountain, and better access to the rear yard. Details like a concealed pantry door and flush electrical outlets in the backsplash, as well as clean, modern finishes and fixtures give the space a distinctive feel.
