Standing among 36 acres of a private island in the Caribbean, Elizabeth Island, this 3,100-square foot estate offers carbon-negative living just minutes from the famed Great Exuma. Nestled in the world’s first-ever fully sustainable solar-powered yacht and residence club, Ki’ama Bahamas, the $4.25 million estate features six bedrooms each with views of the stunning cerulean waters.

Featuring a one-story linear design to thoughtfully blend into and respect the island topography, the estate features 12-foot ceilings to maximize ventilation and light. Ensuite bedrooms provide private work spaces and ample closets. Externally, the timber frames of the estate home are engineered to withhold a Category 4 hurricane and exterior lighting is “Dark Sky” compliant, creating the ultimate eco-friendly opportunity for stargazing under the Bahamian night sky. Spanning 3,100 interior square foot in addition to significant decking and a private pool, the home can also be customized to the owner’s wishes. Homeowners even have the option for a 1/8th yacht share and access to the Ki’ama clubhouse and spa.

Eco-conscious from development start to finish, the estate is free from invasive infrastructure or diesel generators with minimal obstruction to the surrounding land, a uniquely designed model that results in abundant owner use while consuming less land with fewer homes. The home represents one of eight expansive estate homes that, coupled with 16 Club residences, comprise the sustainable resort community of Ki’ama. Designed for yacht and real estate lovers alike, Club Ki'ama owners can stay in a residence or on a yacht during their vacation - or a mix of both. Yachts can also be reserved for cruising - giving owners a truly "best of both world" vacation experience in the Caribbean. With developer EcoIsland Development and resort architect Silent Resorts both passionate about eco-preservation, one percent of all residence sales will be donated to Silent Catch, a nonprofit supporting the electrification of local artisanal fishing fleets, preservation of mangrove habitats and the funding of reef restoration.

The entirety of Ki’ama will be 100% solar-powered with pools constructed in recycled shipping containers. Additionally, the resort will utilize highly efficient, advanced water purification and wastewater treatment systems. As the resort’s yacht partner, Silent Yachts will supply a fleet of 60- to 80-foot luxury solar powered catamarans, eliminating fossil fuel engines and their impact on the environment, high operating costs and maintenance. Ki'ama Bahamas marks the first location of the future Ki'ama brand of resort developments, setting the standard for eco-conscious development around the world.
