The 71sqm apartment is located in the contemporary building at the historic center of Saint Petersburg.
The brief was to add a master bedroom with wardrobe, large bathroom and to rethink living space to accommodate living room, dining room and kitchen. So the new living space was created as a mix of interconnected areas, giving greater flexibility to the plan than isolated rooms.

Main open space opens on the right just beyond the entrance and includes living room, dining room and kitchen.

A Large bathroom is located opposite the entrance. There is a master bedroom to the left of the bathroom. The bedroom is combined with walk-in-closet.

There is also a small wardrobe in the hall.

The bathroom has been enlarged by combining a toilet and originally a small bathroom.

Client loves Scandinavian design and aesthetics, Danish, Swedish and Finnish furniture and decor manufactures. He also took an active part in the selection of decor and furniture. Chairs and a pendant lamp in the dining room are from Muuto. The living room features a BoConcept sofa in fabric, combined with a carpet by Fermliving and a sideboard by Russian brand The Idea.

We have chosen a painted MDF as main material for the kitchen.

The bathroom was designed in monochrome colors.

Warm oak tones, used as floor and some furniture material, white walls and contemporary paintings were used to accentuate the welcoming and cozy space and make it brighter.
