In Portland’s beloved Roseway neighborhood, a classic Craftsman bungalow has been mindfully reimagined from the ground up by a local mother-daughter team. Their thoughtful, soulful renovation blends timeless character with fresh design, resulting in a home that feels both rooted and renewed.

The first impression stuns: a newly added front porch with cedar accents, soaring ceilings, and low-maintenance PVC decking welcomes you with warmth and style. Step inside to discover a 3-bedroom, 2-bath layout with a full daylight basement, offering endless possibilities—from in-law suite to creative studio or cozy home theater.

Original windows and refinished hardwood floors preserve the home’s charm, while curated modern touches elevate the space. The living room centers around a Spanish-style wood-burning fireplace flanked by custom built-ins—ideal for showcasing books, art, or vinyl. Globe lighting adds a soft, modern glow throughout.

The galley-style kitchen is a showstopper, featuring quartz countertops, a spacious island, induction cooktop, and high-end stainless steel appliances—including a smart fridge and built-in oven/microwave combo. A beamed ceiling brings texture and warmth, while a cedar-and-quartz coffee/cocktail bar adds a functional yet stylish twist. Ample built-ins and a large walk-in pantry keep everything within reach but out of sight.

Off the dining room, French doors open to a fully fenced backyard oasis—complete with new PVC decking, a covered patio, raised garden beds, and fresh pavers. Whether you're entertaining or unwinding, this outdoor space invites connection and calm.

Each bedroom includes generous closet space, and both bathrooms are magazine-worthy. The main-level bath features terrazzo and subway tile, a tub/shower combo, cedar shelving, and a custom shower bench. Upstairs, the newly added primary suite is a sanctuary of its own, complete with skylight, dual closets, and a penny-tiled walk-in shower with bench seating. The custom geometric stair detail leading up is a subtle but unforgettable moment of design.

This home is a true labor of love—designed and brought to life by Portland-based real estate agent and renovator Annie Dang and her mother. Their shared vision, care, and craft shine in every detail.
