Park Avenue Residence

One of Mark Weaver’s favorite pieces is the vintage Bugatti poster. Weaver moved this poster from the client’s office to the living room, where it became the centerpiece of the room and the inspiration for purchasing the art deco chairs in the apartment. The client immediately responded to the chairs and the simple clean lines that are as modern today as they were before.

The clients travel extensively, especially to the East, and have brought back remarkable pieces from their trips. Weaver kept the gorgeous Buddhas and African masks so he could display them on the home’s bookshelves. He also kept the Biedermeier chairs as they were unique with a classic appeal.

From Mark Weaver and Associates

Mark Weaver & Associates (MWA) completely renovated this pre-war Park Avenue apartment from the ground up into a stunning new home for its clients. The residence was updated with a modern kitchen, bathrooms and architectural details throughout. Warm grays, crisp whites and splashes of color are featured in the carefully curated furnishings.

Many NYC apartments are old and simply “refreshed” with a new coat of paint. The moulding remains decades old with woodwork that is tired. The Park Avenue Residence is new and exciting, with crafted details to update the space into a luxurious refuge.
