The most expensive home in West Palm Beach history to ever hit the market is listed for $17,750,000 with Burt Minkoff of Douglas Elliman.

Just last year Steve Bendat of Aquantis Group Development broke the record of the highest price single family home sale in West Palm Beach with his project at 2914 Washington Road which was represented by Burt Minkoff of Douglas Elliman. Bendat, is looking to break that record again with the launch of his newest project, 6717 S Flagler.

6717 S Flagler Dr is one of the most distinctive properties ever built in Palm Beach County. Designed by developer Steve Bendat of the Aquantis Group and architect David Lawrence, 6717 S. Flagler Dr is an estate compound that maximizes the tropical nature of South Florida and the spectacular views of the Intracoastal waterway and the ocean beyond.

Facing the estates on Billionaire’s Row, 6717 S Flagler Drive offers an unobstructed eastern view of the island of Palm Beach. The home boasts an interior “floating” glass staircase, an outdoor stainless-steel circular staircase, an all-glass indoor elevator with back-lit onyx surround, a commercial exterior elevator, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two powder rooms. There is also a theater room, a dedicated gym, a private guest house, a home office, and a four-car air-conditioned garage. Hurricanes are no match for this new home constructed to last generations; Built with extra-large footers, reinforced steel, poured concrete floors, and concrete-filled block, the home is virtually indestructible and soundproof. The home is also pre-wired with fiber optic cable capable of transmitting 8K video to every room and patio. There’s also a whole house 70Kw generator at the ready in case of emergency.

The house has a commercial-ready Savant control system that can manage lighting, temperature, security, home theater, fireplaces, cameras, locks, advanced security system and more. Lighting is controlled by a Lutron Homeworks system coupled with programmable metal Palladiom keypad switches. Each room has wired Lutron Sivoia QS shades that provide translucency and privacy.

The most simple and minimal design choices define the house as a timeless classic. No detail has been overlooked including; custom hidden base and door surrounds with a Reglet system throughout, 10 foot solid core doors with Tactus hidden hinges, walnut and lacquer cabinetry, backlit Illuminated stone wine cellar and glass elevator shaft, polished steel, walnut and glass floating staircase, LED ceiling cove lights, even a glass fronted spa overlooking the Intracoastal. If any detail was executed improperly, it was redone and redone again, if necessary.

No matter where you are-- in the house or outside--the simple, yet carefully planned landscaping reminds you know that you are in the tropics. From rooftop synthetic grass to the lush living walls, from the west side of the house to the east side, there is either greenery or water surrounding you.

Finally, a 21st Century house in Palm Beach County that merges modernism with unparalleled construction.
