Perched within the prestigious Desert Mountain community of Scottsdale, AZ, our #MoodyMountainProject is a custom-designed home that blends modern luxury with organic, desert-inspired elements. Designed for seamless entertaining, the space balances bold sophistication with everyday comfort.

One of my favorite parts of being a Designer is bringing unexpected materials into our projects. We sourced a flamed wood shou sugi ban veneer for one of the cabinet finishes, and it became one of the most unique elements of the home, adding incredible texture and warmth to the kitchen.

Throughout the home, a moody, earthy color palette sets a striking tone, while expansive windows frame breathtaking desert views and flood the interiors with natural light. The open-concept layout promotes effortless flow, creating the perfect backdrop for hosting and relaxing. Every detail—from the curated materials to the thoughtful integration of indoor and outdoor living—was crafted to reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle and love for elevated design.
