Polish Small and Gorgeous
Whether you need an extra room, a quiet office space, a children's playroom or just a place to relax and enjoy nature, this mobile solitude space will surely deliver it. Small, portable design was designed by architect Mariusz Kuźniak, owner of the DesignOff studio in Gliwice. The cube looks like a simple Scandinavian building, with a gable roof. It features three elements: it is equipped with wheels, allowing for any garden setting depending on the needs, a transparent interior made of transparent foil curtains and its side elevations constitute a very recognizable Mondrian graphic.
For a reason, the architect chose the work of a well-known Dutch artist. Like the shape of this design, Mondrian's graphics are based on simplicity, the reduction of shapes to lines and rectangles. Mondrian used asymmetrical balance and image simplification, which were decisive for the development of contemporary art. He became an icon, and his recognizable compositions based on basic colors, to this day stamp their stigma on popular culture.
Mondrian collided vertical and horizontal elements that represented opposing forces: positive and negative, dynamic and static, masculine and feminine.
Today, Mondrian's works are referred to the world of pure abstraction. The idea of placing his work in an ordinary garden seems to be abstract as well. More misleading, Mondrian as a writer and theorist, believed that art reflects the spiritual side of nature. He has simplified the subjects of paintings in the most basic elements to reveal the essence of mysterious energy in the balance of forces that govern nature and the universe.
