Design and material pallet is an interpretation of Asian inspired architecture with a clean modern approach. Folded plains are created in both wood and quartz to create origami like forms. This can be seen primarily in the tub surround which folds upward to create the counter for double vanities. The folded planes of the wood create the surrounds at the medicine cabinet surround, starting with the shelf extension over the tub, then up into the cap above the lighting, and the Linen armoire alongside the water closet that rests on the continuous seat which extends into the curbless shower.
Material selections also influence by Asian design with the wood being cherry with a rosewood stain. The tiles are golden / cream onyx at the accents with a simple creamy white linen inspired porcelain tile. The quartz counters have the feeling of rice paper to round out this modern pallet of materials. Carefully attention was given to grout lines and executed flawlessly by master Builder Kaiser and his crew as another layer of folded plains.

Princeton Design Collaborative's scope of services included architectural 3D modeling, Construction Documents for permitting and construction, plus monitoring the contractor. All finish selections where orchestrated with our in-house interior design team.
