Welcome to Margaritaville, a new construction in Park Ridge, IL. The owners Bryan and Catherine, are real estate developers with young children. Originally both from the South Side of Chicago, they found Park Ridge the perfect location with access to the city and friends scattered around the suburbs of Chicago.

They entertain a lot, so the entire house was created to welcome guests.

The backyard has multiple hang out areas, with an outdoor TV and fireplace, tiered seating and a turf yard, for no maintenance. The detached garage has sliding doors on the side of it, so it can open up as a bar or hang out room (it has a TV too).

The basement has a lounge and golf simulator, as well as a large play space for kids, relaxing family room and a work out room.

The kitchen has a large T-shaped island with seating all around it and backs up to a hearth room , with additional cozy seating, meant for family nights, when everyone is home and overflow when entertaining.

The 3 season room morphed into a 4 season space during construction. Placed right off the living room and having access to the back patio and kitchen, this is the perfectly placed space. It houses 1/5 fireplaces, a large sofa and TV and a wood clad ceiling, which just draws people in.

The master bedroom has a fireplace, TV and a hidden cabinet with a beverage fridge in it, because…it’s never too early to start partying.

One of the best features of the home is dueling wine storage cabinets. Both temperature controlled and placed on the end of a long hallway that divides the kitchen / dining from the main Living room. These wood cabinets look like beautiful built-ins, but happen to hold wine, lots of it and are internally lit, so they can glow beautifully.

The exterior is painted brick with swooping roof lines, cedar shakes and light grey windows, not the most common selection. We love how all the soft neutrals layer together. Oh, there is also a front porch, made for more gathering or maybe escaping the crowds! www.amystormandco.com
