The main goal of this apartment was for each room to have its own unique personality, reflecting the charismatic and fun nature of the owners. It was important to maintain cohesiveness throughout, as well as maximize storage and usability. With the use of transforming furniture, and closets that turn into home offices or stroller closets, we created an apartment with tons of hidden layers and features to help these busy upper east side parents maintain a clutter-free home that they can also work out of happily. As you walk through the apartment, layers start to unfold, giving way to this couple's unique personality and favorite pastimes. Balancing color, pattern and texture, this is without a doubt an apartment in the Sutton Place area you have yet to see anything like before!
