This small 1400 square foot, 3/3 bd&bath home and a choppy layout with too many walls and unused square footage. By installing and concealing two extra large beams, we were able to create an open concept, one wall kitchen that is both functional and inviting. We opted to *lower* the ceiling height in the kitchen to create a defined space that in turned made the living room feel more spacious, with its vaulted ceilings.
Budget was in mind for this project and we were able to achieve a high end look with just half a slab of leather finish Taj Mahal for the entire kitchen. The 2cm review is both modern and saved on cost eliminating the need for a mitered countertop reveal.
Smooth coat walls, natural stone and neutral color palette take this Mediterranean modern home to the next level.
