The architectural endeavor faced a unique challenge: the client's desire to occupy both the ground floor and the second level while delivering an extraordinary experience for guests residing on the garden level.

Nestled in Sainte-Béatrix within Quebec's Lanaudière region, The M Resort & Spa is a meticulously crafted three-story cabin spanning 1500 square feet. Each floor is thoughtfully designated for specific functions aligned with the rhythm of the day. The Garden Level features a fully-equipped two-bedroom bachelor unit, catering to the discerning needs of resort clients. On the ground level, all public functions seamlessly unfold, while the second floor hosts private spaces, including a master bedroom with an attached private balcony that offers a breathtaking panoramic view.

Inspired by the site's topography, the design unfolds harmoniously, creating multiple plateaus that gracefully traverse the landscape from the main street to the dock connecting to the Assumption River. The architectural narrative is a testament to the synergy between form and function, transforming The M Resort & Spa into a masterpiece that harmonizes with its surroundings.
