As the sun moves, there is a natural play of light and shadow, the window layouts creating intricate shadows on the wall. We intentionally left these walls without art.

The house was originally intended as a guest house, but as soon as the project was completed (the main house is still in the design process), the clients themselves moved into it and live there with great pleasure.

We would like to create a more intimate atmosphere, to immerse guests in a completely different world and offer a new experience. These are rooms filled and wrapped in color, quite complex. Several shades and layers come together and dissolve sharp angles, smoothing the transition from the attic ceiling to the walls.

The guest house had already been built when the designers started working. At the request of customers, they adjusted the facades, clearing them of unnecessary decorative details. The project also makes one doubt that behind the high lancet windows there is a village near Moscow, and not a French countryside.

The biggest advantage of the house is, of course, the large volume and height of the ceilings, a large number and a beautiful view from the window to the garden, it all captures, so we removed the accents from the windows and doors. As the sun moves, a play with light and shadows erupts, the window layouts suggest intricate shadows on the wall. We deliberately left these walls without art,” designers of the project say.
