Atelier Caracas is an architecture and design studio founded in 2015 by Julio Kowalenko and Rodrigo Armas. Their practice encompasses architecture, design, sculpture, and scenography. Operating fervently, the studio serves as a platform for formal, aesthetic, and cultural experimentation. Strongly influenced by pop culture and the ordinary, Atelier Caracas is dedicated to creating scenographically curated objects and spaces that are intellectually provocative and laden with symbolism and narrative.

On this occasion, they present RIGOR, an exhibition that questions two fundamental notions in architecture: environment and design. Drawing inspiration from a figure they have repeatedly turned to in their work, they reinterpret Hans Hollein's architectural manifesto-"Everything is architecture"- to provide LIGA with a new spatial and emotional perception.
This intervention ultimately serves as the starting point for reflecting on design. Through it, they present four provocative compositions that invite a reconsideration of a series of recognized utilitarian objects, now imbued with a new aesthetic, spatial, and environmental significance. In this sense, the rigor of comprehensively understanding these objects is the fundamental characteristic of reinventing them.
