The peculiarity of this house is that it goes down. Located in the outskirts of the city, it is almost a country house. So, the atmosphere that was designed was cozy and familiar. With the intention of creating a customized space for the tastes and needs of our customers, we proposed a neutral base of natural wood and some other elements that would highlight the space.
Coming down from the main access floor, we find the main staircase that connects all levels of the house. This one is embraced of two walls in gray tapestry that emphasize the contrast of the smithy and the wood of the stairs. Thus, for each of the levels, we receive volumes of wood staves. This creates a warm and focused feeling.
We opted for a black marble with a very heterogeneous vein to create a modern space, but at the same time emphasize the sensations emanating from the same material. This material contrasts harmoniously with the rest of the materials.
For each of the spaces we tried to emphasize the uses of them, making the kitchen to connect directly with the family room as those are the most used spaces by the family. The public area is emphasized with double height and the connection to the outside with the terrace. For the bedrooms and bathrooms the same thing happens, taking care of the use of each space, it was tried to generate the propitious atmosphere.
