The bones of this modern craftsman-style home perched on Lake Austin was originally designed with entertainment in mind. But the interior was in desperate need of an update. Jennifer Fisher, owner and principal designer of J.Fisher Interiors, brought out the natural beauty of this lakeside retreat by enhancing the open floor plan, renovating the chef's kitchen and adding mix of vintage and modern furnishings throughout.

The interior is bathed in a crisp coat of Benjamin Moore's Decorator's White, and the kitchen was overhauled with custom white oak butcher block counter tops. A Borgini Gold Calacatta marble island stands at the center with book matched waterfall panels. The walls of the master bath are now clad in black and gold Zebrino marble imported from Turkey and accented with the notable Waterwork's Atlas collection.

Every piece of furniture was replaced creating a sleek updated concept, and the bathrooms were re-envisioned from floor to ceiling with new tiles, counters and accessories to breathe new life and brighten the formerly dark spaces.

J.Fisher Interiors carried the party outdoors, and added a sturdy Ipe wood-clad outdoor kitchen with bar seating for seven. Jennifer extended the outdoor entertaining space by expanding the pool deck to accommodate the beautiful and functional new lounge chairs.

This lakeside hideaway with it’s panoramic views and boat dock has been given a new lease on life as a year-round luxury Austin getaway for friends and family.
