A family of four, parents & 2 brothers, approached us to build their dream home and their brief was clear: they wanted a house that would be filled with light and warmth, with the kitchen serving as the heart of the home where family members could gather to eat, drink, and spend quality time together.

Future-proofing the house was a crucial requirement for the client. The house is built on an amalgamation of 2 plots, with a dividing line carefully maintained. This decision ensures that the two brothers, who own either side of the house, have separate ownership while still enjoying the benefits of shared spaces and amenities. Both areas have a very different interior style which is a reflection of the two brothers' personalities. The two blocks are connected by a large overhang which serves as one of the master bedrooms on the first floor and creates a semi-open seating area overlooking the lawns for everyone to gather at the end of the day.
