This project saw both a complete renovation as well as an addition to an existing detached house. The new chapter for this home allows for a thoroughly modern sensibility in both the plan as well as the material choices. The journey was enhanced by both the owners commitment to the design vision, as well as the contractors team of skilled trades all contributing to the success of this project. The material palate is consciously reduced-- allowing the subtle textures and colours to help carve and illuminate the flow. The resulting modern space is a muscular backdrop for the enjoyment and gathering of an active family.
