The house T, a detached house located in Merano, consisting of a ground floor
and a basement with garage. It is built in climate house standard B.
The building is located in the north of the two properties, near the entrance street
and has a garden in the southwest.
This enables a careful treatment with the open space.
The building consists of two merging structures, which are slightly offset in height
due to the topography. From a structural point of view, the building is a solid sandwich structure with intermediate thermal insulation. The facade is designed pure and clear except
of the entrance wall. The wall is characterized by a structural matrix.
The shape of vine leaves makes the wall appear transparent despite the massive
concrete wall and creates an interesting play of light and shadow. The vine leaves cut out of the concrete wall form a link to the environment, which is characterized by vines.
The roof is designed as flat roof covered with gravel. The pure lines of the architecture itself are underlined by the execution of the façade and the realization of glass façades, which let the building appear clear and light. The glass facades, doors and window elements are designed as all-glass elements with triple insulating glazing to ensure the best possible living comfort.
The living areas open onto a spacious terrace and the pool. A seemingly floating
staircase leads to the garden. The house T, a detached house located in Merano, consisting of a ground floor and a basement with garage. It is built in climate house standard B.
