Grocery Store Conversion

This incredible property is nestled in the historic San Antonio neighborhood of Government Hill only blocks from The Pearl mixed use development. Svelte Design found this property in horrible shape.

Years of neglect and poor uses left damage and decay everywhere, and a floorplan that was completely unusable.

The project took almost 5 months and was a total gut renovation from the ground up. An entirely new foundation was added to level the house, full new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems were installed.

The floorplan was entirely reworked to include a huge master suite, two more bedrooms and full bathrooms upstairs. We also created a dedicated study and paneled it with original shiplap from the walls of the home.
