Generating a space from an older one, has become a task that goes beyond simply restoring, rather, it has become an architecture that rescues everything that can be reused to generate new sensations through the existing, managing new design concepts that leads to a completely different result than what existed in the beginning.
Gli Olivi could be considered as a piece of architecture that mixes antiquity with contemporaneity, bringing this mixture to its owners, which is more than their residence, but also their place of work and rest.
The project was born from the need of the owners to turn this building into their main residence, where they could carry out their work and personal activities in a satisfactory way without having to leave it, that is why through this project they have sought to generate spaces new and contemporary within the same construction area, without adding additional construction elements that enlarge the surface of the building, but the space has been optimized so that within the existing areas the spaces are used to the maximum.
