Restored from an old workshop and garage, the additional dwelling unit on Gallatin Street allows for a freestanding studio.
Located in a residential neighborhood in Washington DC, the masonry envelope was fully preserved. Taking advantage of existing features, the architect focused on natural light and efficiency.
