This newly-constructed 1,800-square-foot home fits beautifully and authentically into its Carmel-by-the-Sea neighborhood. Its vintage Carmel style is expressed in the wood shingles and ample front porch. Crafted as a family retreat, the open floor plan of this 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath cottage offers a sense of both spaciousness and cozy comfort. A vibrant blue lends the front door a warm and welcoming feel and creates pops of color in the kitchen and throughout the home. The kitchen island near the built-in, wood-fired pizza oven is a perfect gathering spot for family and friends. Features like a tankless water heater reduce the energy demands of the home. The landscape is intentionally left simple and natural for water conservation and to showcase the forest-like setting of the property.
