Fluke Residence

Project scope included taking down an existing patio and creating a new patio with dining, living, tv watching, private master outdoor, and fire pit spaces. The main patio is over 32' long, and the private patio is 20' long. The challenge was to create different spaces with distinct feelings under such a large area. The solution was a series of covered, trellis, and open areas. The composite wood ceilings within the covered areas help delineate the spaces further. The blue tiles and accents evoke water, to mentally cool the space in the intense Texas summer. Some of the exterior siding was re-worked, as well as new paint selections for brick and trim.
