Marcon is pleased to announce its newest development, 2030 Barclay at Stanley Park, a meticulously considered and impeccably designed boutique building by notable architect Richard Henriquez, that sets the benchmark for living in downtown Vancouver.

2030 Barclay is slated to be one of the last owner-held buildings in the area, according to the City of Vancouver’s West End Plan. Situated at the intersection of lush forests, mountains, sandy beaches, scenic harbor, and the bustling city, 2030 Barclay will be the newest addition to a trio of iconic and cherished West End towers designed by Richard Henriquez and Henriquez Partners Architects, which includes the Sylvia Hotel Tower, the Eugenia, and the Presidio. With its upcoming debut, 2030 Barclay is set to establish Henriquez's legacy in Vancouver's West End and position him as the leading post-modern urbanist in Vancouver.

Richard Henriquez's recent 30-minute documentary Building Stories has been making waves in North America, as it showcases his immense influence on the City of Vancouver. The documentary is a tribute to Henriquez's architectural legacy and features a collection of his iconic works that have transformed the city's skyline. Henriquez, who is one of Vancouver's most renowned architects, is celebrated for his innovative designs and his ability to combine elements of history, culture, and sustainability into his buildings. Building Stories takes viewers on a journey through his impressive career and highlights the profound impact he has had on the city's architecture and urban landscape. The documentary has been praised for its stunning cinematography, engaging narrative, and for shedding light on the important role that architecture plays in shaping our cities.

"Richard Henriquez's legacy in the West End is truly remarkable. From the iconic Sylvia Tower to Eugenia Place and Presidio, his work has had great influence on the city's built form. His ability to tie nostalgia with specific site conditions is powerful, making for thoughtful architecture and, ultimately, more impactful communities. 2030 Barclay embodies this spirit: a bold take on the classic approach to vertical living. Uniquely positioned between an old growth forest, beaches, harbour, mountains and the city, its location steps from Stanley Park is rare and profoundly special." says Nic Paolella, Executive Vice President at Marcon.

Alda Pereira, the interior designer for this project has created designs that showcase sleek and contemporary aesthetics while maintaining a timeless appeal. By incorporating classic finishes with a modern approach, each home exudes a serene and inviting atmosphere. Soft elm and glacier white cabinetry options further enhance the warmth and tranquility of the spaces.

2030 Barclay will be composed of four two-storey townhomes at the base, only two homes per floor up the tower, and crowned by a single penthouse on the top level, a combination of 19 homes over 10 storeys. Options to combine and customize homes and floor plans are also available to buyers. Balconies are uniquely oriented at an angle to maximize homeowners’ privacy and views overlooking Stanley Park and Lost Lagoon.
