Nestled steps from the southern end of the lake among the peaks of the Cascades, Creekside Mills at Cultus Lake in British Columbia is blooming in more ways than one.
Creekside Mills is a collection of 129 private country-inspired homes that offer residents fresh air and a country lifestyle made rich by abundant growing space, walking trails and access to nearby Cultus Lake.
Launched more than five years ago, the community is maturing as it moves into its third development phase. It’s also now entering a unique growing season in which the global challenges of 2020 have emphasized just how important our connection to nature and green space has become.
Creekside Mills is set on 79-acres, including hiking paths and 10 acres of protected farmland, that provides residents access to home-grown produce including berries, wine grapes and various fruits and vegetables, all under the stewardship of an agricultural caretaker.
With plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, Creekside Mills offers a quieter, slower year-round lifestyle. In an increasingly digital and flexible business climate, many young families are choosing to leave big city life behind without leaving the big city job. The neighbourhood represents the ideal escape, on your terms. The convenience of Chilliwack is just a short drive away, while downtown Vancouver can be accessed in less than 90 minutes.
