Contemporary Indoor Outdoor Living

The goal was to preserve the stately integrity of the architecture and provide a bright light contemporary Florida style home. After living in a Chicago penthouse the homeowners wanted an indoor/ outdoor lifestyle. Lots of natural light and a chic yet casual design aesthetic. Using a soft color palette and lots of white we achieved a refreshed yet sophisticated home. We added just enough interior architectural detail to create character. The result was a timeless home.

The couple’s entertaining style is casual and impromptu therefore we embraced an open plan concept which includes the great room, the dining room and kitchen areas which flow into the outdoor spaces.To create a fun Florida style home which unified the outdoors with the indoors, we designed a custom kitchen with a dining area ithat is the epitome of sophistication and good taste. When the meal is completed they can mingle in the adjacent seating area or jump into the pool.
