CONCEPT 1 GYM

Unlike other conventional gyms, our inference was to deliver something which has never been delivered into the health and fitness segment. Combining art with rigorous discipline was something that we wanted to achieve. To a large extent, we have been successful in achieving our ideologies.
The front façade is fortunate to capture the morning sun and impart the fitness freaks with natural source of vitamin-D3. East façade was keenly designed with alternating full glass windows and customised metal grills. The full glass windows were layered with crafted films containing human figures in different exercise positions. Behind the glass and film, were placed the treadmills and cycles. Exercisers can have the best of natural vitamin-D along with the main road view. There was an existing brick wall on the east façade, which we decided to retain after visiting the site. The plaster over it was cleaned and the wall was made presentable.
The central idea was to maintain a rustic look and leave more and more raw surfaces.Talking about the additional features apart from the conventional work out area, the gym provides room for health and nutrition consultancy, physiotherapy, aerobics and yoga. We have provided specific area for personal lockers and segregated toilet blocks with steam and sauna facilities. Owner’s cabin, pantry and store room are other essentials.
After having a deep study about the sizes and heights of all the gym equipments, their placement was given a serious thought and also the gym sizes were planned in accordance. Mirrors were installed following logic to make the space look bigger than in real. Self articulated benches were grounded in spaces such as toilet blocks, reception area and locker room. The partition wall between the reception desk and consultancy desk has been self designed to provide information about the complete range of nutrition supplements consumed after heavy and rigorous work-out. The partition wall has specific showcase units where the samples of the nutrition supplements can be made public.
We have also focused a lot on graphic branding and have applied it at various places such as films over walls, windows, mirror, etc.
The execution of all the ideas met success in-spite of the structural challenges and we take immense pride to achieve our goals with utmost perfection
