Espousing the finest in transitional coastal style, this Cinnamon Shore located beach house, designed by Tricia Dabney of Dabney Designs hits all the right notes. An illustration of the home owner’s desires for a nature-inspired home contrasted against a clean, white backdrop, the home’s open-style spaces, envelop visitors into an airy and ever-so-beachy ambiance. Beach blue and turquoise pops of color are thoughtfully sprinkled throughout the home to further connect the home’s aesthetic with the beach.
The home’s kitchen is the crown jewel of the home, featuring an expansive open-suite anchored by a large kitchen island. A Big Chill 36” Retro Stove in Beach Blue (bigchill.com) was amongst the homeowner’s design requests, generating a central point of interest in the cookspace. Wicker pendant lights illuminate the space and are hung from the dramatic cathedral ceilings. An effortless transition exists between the kitchen, the dining room, and the living room, with the blue and white theme continued throughout. Shiplap and blue wallpaper accents are viewable throughout and were selected to mirror the blue detail work in the kitchen.
An impressive entryway, basked in natural light furthers the transitional design of the home. The bedrooms offer respite and relaxation using cool tones, sliding doors, and enviable amounts of natural light. A bedroom perfect for all ages, includes several bunk beds to accommodate a number of guests.
The property’s outdoors includes two porches on two stories for all-encompassing views in the coastal community.
