From Colby Brown

The success story of Casa Sierra began in September 2023 when a good friend and past client reached out to us to help him renovate and sell his father’s home of over 30 years. We knew this sale would have a happy ending from the moment we stepped foot inside, immediately captivated by the amount of potential we felt from our initial visit. We sensed there was something unique about this space. This intuition was later affirmed after discovering the original architectural plans that had been long forgotten in the bottom of a box in the garage. These lost plans showed that townhome was constructed by Robert A. Schultz (AIA)

In 3 months we brought this space back to life, renovating the interior and refreshing the landscaping. After styling and branding, we launched onto the market a few weeks ago and rapidly attracted several offers, closing for $227,500 above our asking price and breaking a record for the highest-priced condo per square foot in Sierra Madre.

Newly reimagined in 2024 by STUDIO SINERGIA, Casa Sierra is an exquisite AIA Mediterranean townhome nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains that exudes quiet luxury and irresistible comfort. Located steps from the quaint village of Sierra Madre, this exclusive gated enclave offers an urban lifestyle in rustic picturesque surroundings. Built over 4 levels of living, this free-flowing floor plan features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a loft, and an attached two-car garage with laundry bar. Upon entering discover the architectural detail of the grand two-story fireplace, arched passageways, dramatic 20-foot ceiling, and a crowning skylight that floods the interior with natural light. Finishing elements include bleached linen flooring, ceramic tiling, Brazilian Quartzite and Italian Silver Travertine surfaces. Designer lighting, tailored drapery, custom wood built-ins, and preserved millwork add charm and elegance to this fully modernized home. Work or unwind in style from the top floor loft featuring framed mountain views and overlooking the magnificent interior elements of the living space below. Occupying an entire level, the primary suite showcases vaulted ceilings, a sumptuous dressing area, an expansive walk-in closet, and a wet room anchored by an alluring walk-in rain shower. Descending to the main level, French doors open up off of the formal living and dining space to a charming balcony that offers additional mountain views. Once outside in the front courtyard, escape and decompress in the tranquility of a private hedged European-inspired garden.
