The apartment, on the first floor of a ‘ringhiera’ building in the NoLo district, had lost, over the years, all its characteristic elements.

The presence of numerous openings suggests to move the distribution space along the facade: the continuity of the spaces is now favored by a bright corridor, punctuated by the succession of four windows capable of guaranteeing a uniform diffusion of light. A full-height retractable panel can interrupt the corridor and allows you to separate the bedroom when necessary.

A steel beam dating back to previous interventions is shown and exalted, becoming a decorative element of the living area and a sign of partition between the living room and kitchen. The focal point of the living area is the island covered in sage-colored three-dimensional tiles.

From the corridor, through a full-height opening, you enter an environment characterized by bold colours. The walk-in closet is hidden behind the geometric pattern of a curtain, while the bathroom is accessed from a door in the rust-colored wall. In the bathroom the ceramic tile covering of two sizes and colors regulates the geometries of all the elements created on site: a large windowed shower with bench and a sink top with full-wall mirror capable of doubling the space. The apartment sees the combination of contemporary furniture pieces with design classics, all linked by a uniform oak floor laid in a French herringbone pattern.
