Built in 1968, Brook View Cabin is an A-Frame nestled in 6 acres of woods with a private brook streaming through it. It has 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms plus an extra loft bed in the upstairs bedroom. One essential factor of the house is the effort to showcase the surrounding nature. The large windows around the house show 360° views of the trees around, and the solarium is a show-stopping room of glass where you can dine looking at the stars. It's even more magical when seeing rain, leaves or snow falling on the glass above.

The home was in poor shape when we moved in, but over the course of 2 years, we renovated it with blood, sweat and tears whilst trying to honor and preserve the character of the home. Architecturally, it did not change.

We locally sourced second hand and vintage mid-century furnishings paired with some modern elements to enhance the elevated yet cosy feel inside. Now, we have moved back to NYC for work, and we’ve opened the cabin to the public via Airbnb. We hope that guests can experience the joy we felt living here surrounded by nature in the heart of Hudson Valley.
