atmospheras creates a retail experience inspired by contemporary women

LUZ hair salon is the life project of the stylist Luz Pérez Cabanes, a retail space dedicated to contemporary women. Our goal has been to generate a high value-added experience for her clients in a space that invites calm and well-being.

After several meetings with Luz, we concluded that the essence of the project should highlight the values of the stylist herself and those of her clients. The space would reflect femininity, strength, elegance and calm from a detailed study of surfaces, volumes and materiality.

The intervention of the exterior facade has been minimized in order to contrast a nondescript environment with the WOW effect of its interior. The only intervention was through high-performance anodized aluminum carpentry together with a simple awning highlighted in parallel with the logo designed by Trumbo Agency in brushed brass, a material used in several interior elements.

The interior design was established from the grid of limestone porcelain tiles and a volume emphasized with the same material in large format -which we call "cube"- that assumes the most exclusive part in its three meters of free height.

The project is characterized by the detail in the choice and design of the furniture, the uniformity of tones, the curved-straight combination, and the simplicity and nobility of the chosen materials, in order to generate the emotions that we meant at the beginning of the project. This creates an intimate atmosphere with small vegetable corners that connect urban life with nature.
The distribution comprises two clearly differentiated main areas, the serving part and the served part.

The server area assumes the shape of an L. The left lateral part includes the most private areas and, in the background, the wet areas, through a concatenation of open and closed spaces in order to optimize both the circulation of staff and service to the clients in their different needs.

The served area includes the open space with generous perspectives in which various architectural mechanisms are established to differentiate the lounge, the waiting area and the proportional part of washing and customer service.
