This home, originally designed by an architect in 1961, retains its qualities while embracing contemporary enhancements. Every aspect of the original design is honored, with a careful remodel that includes an extension and a summer room addition. The façade and entryway now blend natural stone, wood, and glass, creating a modern yet grounded exterior.
Inside, spaces flow seamlessly, with open layouts that invite natural light and connect the home to its scenic views. Floor-to-ceiling windows transform the living areas into bright, inviting spaces that feel airy and open. The kitchen and living areas feature high-quality materials and subtle, modern fixtures, balancing warmth with minimalism.
The summer room serves as an all-season haven, seamlessly bridging indoors and out, ideal for relaxation or entertaining. Outdoor spaces extend this harmony, with a garden of native plants and natural stone pathways that complement the home’s palette and enhance its connection to the landscape. The terrace invites outdoor dining, gathering, and appreciation of the changing seasons.
This thoughtful blend of classic and modern design honors the home’s past while meeting contemporary needs, transforming it into a bright, welcoming retreat.
