Modern Vintage Reimagined: A Sculptural Flat by Jugošik Studio

A light-filled renovation blending nostalgic European influences with poetic minimalism — and a celebration of Yugoslavian design heritage.

Jugošik Studio presents its latest project: a luminous, artfully layered 64m2 flat renovation in Ljubljana. Rooted in a philosophy of vintage- inspired minimalism and poetic interiors, the home offers a deeply personal dialogue between mid-century nostalgia, Ex-Yugoslavian
design, and contemporary craftsmanship. Designed as a private sanctuary, the flat reinterprets historic European elements through a contemporary, sculptural lens. A

circular floor plan — created by reopening original doorways and introducing a playful interior window — adds a dynamic, flowing energy rarely seen in compact spaces. The result is an environment that feels open, serene, and alive, while honoring the cultural layers of

its past.

"This home is a love letter to reloved vintage finds, slow craftsmanship and meaningful living. Every piece has a story, every surface invites touch, and every corner feels intentionally alive." Nina Savič, founder of Jugošik Studio and owner of the flat
