From Mary Beth Coyne Architecture

The project creates 4 single family townhouses in the mountain town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The clients for the project approached Mary Beth Coyne Architecture requesting to maximize the buildable floor area for the lots. The design responded to a challenging steeply sloping site, carving out daylight basement accessory residential units situated below the 2 story residences. The result is the creation of 8 new dwelling units on two lots in a town very much in need of housing. Each townhouse is unique, yet engages a tectonic language in dialogue with the neighboring residences in the complex. Two of the residences are 3 bedroom homes and two are 5 bedroom homes. Apertures to the exterior were carefully selected to frame views to the north and south and provide privacy on a densely situated lot.
