As architects and designers, creating a home that reflects our shared passion for art, architecture, and minimalism was a dream we nurtured together. With me as an architect, interior stylist, and artist, and my husband as an architect and interior designer, this space became a collaborative canvas where our creativity, values, and vision came to life. Every corner of our 2BHK home is a chapter of our story - a harmonious blend of our personalities and professional passions.
The living room is where our story begins, combining subtle artistry with functionality. A concrete backdrop highlights the TV, while a lightweight sofa brings comfort and simplicity. The temple, a serene yet artistic corner, is adorned with wallpaper art inspired by Indian culture, connecting us to our roots. The space flows effortlessly into the kitchen, where a cozy breakfast table bridges moments of creativity with everyday living, reinforcing the warmth of our home.
The kitchen is a minimalist's delight, designed with earthy wooden tones and terracotta hues. Its simplicity and functionality reflect our shared belief in creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical—a quiet yet essential part of our daily routine.
The guest room, one of our favourite spaces, is a versatile hub of creativity and work. It’s where I immerse myself in art, and where my husband finds his focus at a sleek workstation. A rotating mirror transforms the space effortlessly between our needs. To enhance openness and light, we replaced a solid wall with fluted glass, connecting it seamlessly to the living area. A platform bed with under-storage ensures practicality, creating a welcoming space for family and friends.
Our master bedroom captures the essence of who we are - minimalist yet deeply personal. With custom curtains, a thoughtfully designed wardrobe, and wallpaper that narrates stories of nature and love, it is a sanctuary of calm and inspiration. The dressing area holds a special place in our hearts, with its graphic design capturing the rhythm of our daily lives - a story that starts each morning with smiles and ends with gratitude.
Every element of our home, from the wallpapers to the bed backdrops, has been meticulously curated to reflect our shared journey as designers and as a couple. This home is more than just a space; it is the embodiment of our love for architecture, art, and the life we’ve built together.
