We made a new structure to be able to pass under the existing stairs. We added barn wood for the tunnel effect that bring us to the mancave office space.

Let's not forget storage. This custom cabinet wall unit, stores more than we needed. It's huge, but discreet at the same time.

We went for a a built-in shower drain & cut a ceramic tile that matches perfectly. Just the perfect family bathroom. A huge shower with 2 shower sets. The heated flooring is continued in the shower. Just amazing. Easy maintenance & the left over water evaporates. We love it flooring

A complete basement renovation, we started from scratch. Everything had to be redone so that this new space would be loved by the whole family. Maximaise storage, make a bathroom for 4, a family room, a nice welcoming girlroom and a home office. We wanted a warm feeling and went for a simple farmhouse look.
Our first mission was the warm feeling, because in basements, it's not often that welcoming. So we opted for cement heated floors. Very easy maintenance and a modern effect. We also added a fireplace in the living-room for the cosy wormth feeling.

We had to find a balance between a man look and a woman look. We kept it simple with white & charcoal. Adding rustic wood & classic wood in the same colors makes a nice contrast.

For the vanity countertop we found a real rustic tree slice & a stone bathroom sink.
