In the centre of Madrid, halfway between Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, we take care of the full reform of this apartment with privileged views but with an endless corridor that wasted a large part of the square meters of the house.

One of the starting requirements was to find a solution to incorporate a work area into the home, which would accommodate the large collection of books owned by the owners and in which each could develop their work independently of the private life, but at the same time could be used as a library. With this premise, and with the aim of creating a space as versatile as possible, we plan a large communicated space in which the different areas of the house are happening continuously without corridors or wasted spaces, with divisions that allow having all the connected space and that in turn was able to separating punctually through a mobile division housing area and work.

The large continuous space and the the public area distribution of the house around the interior playgrounds allow natural light to completely cross the house reaching all corners of the house.
