Every bathroom is unique, shaped by a variety of factors and needs relating to space, layout, frequency of use, storage, style, and personal preferences, to name just a few. Interior designer Danielle Burkhardt will discuss solutions to bathroom storage and organization, also addressing the need for durable construction in a moist environment.

Design in the Digital Age: Branding and Social Media, from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM | Cosentino Stage
From websites, to social media and mobile apps, the digital space is rich with tools for both designers and design fans to connect with one another. Three leading design professionals, Taavo Somer, Gretchen Hansen, and Willy Wong, will discuss the ways that digital channels continue to transform the industry, what it takes to get noticed, and how brands and retailers can make the most of the digital realm.

Here, Castle's Chest of Drawers from 1966, so titled because of its resemblance to the human chest cavity. "I got to meet Castle a few years ago," explains Gordon, "and we talked about work from that period--the pieces that his original dealer Lee Nordness referred to as 'wandering forms.' Evan Snyderman of R20th Gallery in New York was representing his vintage work and through him I was able to look through hundreds of archival photos and publications about Wendell, but it was all quite scattered and ephemeral. So we started talking about a book."
Hudson Yards is being constructed above a large railyard that services Penn Station; the project's new public spaces and buildings will stand atop caissons and columns that allow the railyard's continuing operation. Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group the developers behind the project.
