Zames decided on Farrow & Ball's Hague Blue color for the bedroom ceiling to make the space feel more intimate, but juxtaposed it with another wallpaper from Flavor Paper. The bed is from Room & Board and the Fawn tables are by Rich Brilliant Willing.

The tiny powder room is outfitted with a foliage-print wallpaper from Hermès, a vintage teak mirror, brushed-fold Moderne fixtures from Kohler, and a custom sink made of swirling soapstone.

Inverted Spaces, a new collaboration between Calico Wallpaper and the Amsterdam studio BCXSY, is on view at Spazio Rossana Orlandi. Other designers among the dozens exhibiting at the not-to-miss space include Piet Hein Eek, Luca Nichetto, Jo Nagasaka, RBW, and more. Via Matteo Bandello 14/16.

Renée Rossouw’s South African heritage shines through in her bright, earthy designs. Working under Surface Design company, Robin Sprong Wallpaper, everything is imported from Germany and printed locally. Mint Blanket is lightly geometric and would add a quirky edge to the kitchen or breakfast nook. The orange and mint color combination is surprisingly fantastic. $43 per three square feet.

The headboard in Hansen’s bedroom echoes the 2013 side-board. The wallpaper is from Arte.

The Lotus wallpaper pattern by Galbraith and Paul is produced in-studio with the help of a digital printer.

Organic, hand-painted wallpaper is still going strong in many design quarters. This range by Eskayel, designed by Shanan Campanaro, also comes in an eco-friendly contract version, made of 31% post-consumer recycled content with a Class “A” fire rating and low VOC emissions.

Trove’s founders, Jee Levin and Randall Buck, made over 100 light “paintings” by exposing photographic paper to flashlights and fiber-optic toys. Then, they distilled their favorite elements across all of the paintings and created two patterns: Heze and Nimbus.
