Goorevich transformed the home's floating hat roof by replacing its aged shingles and soffits with Kebony wood.

The use of green mosaic tiles in the bathroom is a "polite homage" to the balcony's original green mosaic floor tiles.

“It has a public and private feel, which we like.” A French blue table designed by David adds color to the dining area. “It was important to us to have unexpected and whimsical elements in the house,” says Mark. “We didn’t want it to be too serious.”

“The forest is practically inside,” says Danilo Taranti.

The front of the house has three bedrooms and is further from the ground by about half a story. On arrival, residents or guests can reach the front door by walking underneath this rectangular volume.

The Tarantis landscaped the entry with grass and trees.

A “bridge” connects the home’s two volumes. On either side of the bridge from the entry is an open-air patio planted with local grasses and shrubs.

A covered terrace runs the length of the home’s common areas.

Every unit features operable aluminum-framed timber windows.

The landscape team used all-native plants, including pomegranate and olive trees, succulents, rosemary and oleander.
