Noida Residence

The Noida Residence, a luxurious 4BHK apartment is situated in the up market area of Sector-45, Noida. Revolving around the idea of creating an affordable contemporary house, the design includes simplistic designs to reflect the urban lifestyle of the metropolitan clients.

The concept was to create a cozy environment making use of the humongous space which is designed specifically for urban living. There was a need for collaborative spaces to make it barrier free so that the residents can move freely and see more of each other. The designers intended to use lot of ambient lighting instead of using direct lighting so that the focus is entirely on the traditional wood work blending in with the contemporary outlook of the project. All the walls were kept white in order to highlight the wood work.

Desiring a modern décor, the client’s vision required a morphogenesis of the interior arenas, to amplify the spaciousness the structure envelops. Contrary to the generic city life, they sought for an abode that could extrude an ‘barrier-free’ ambiance. The design evidently showcases the preferred color palette of the patrons, consisting of black and white, grey and yellow colors.
The design language of the entire project is very international as it twirls around clean lines and complimentary furniture that deliver a sense of clarity. The intent was to create a very welcoming environment with the introduction of traditional wood work combined with the contemporary décor. Completed in a meagre span of 90 days, the idea was to keep the designs as chic as possible since simplistic interior design speaks clarity like no other. The designers aspired to use a great amount of wood. The walls have been kept white in order to have more focus on the exceptional wood work which is established by the experts. No lights have been provided in the walls so as to keep the aesthetics intact. The use of wood grains is a valuable pick since it works well for North-Indian weather.

The entrance leads to a spacious lobby with 3 overhead wooden brackets that enhance the outlook of the entire area. The walls on either side of the lobby are heavily crafted with modern art and framed pictures. The minimalistic entrance lobby gives access to a drawing cum dining, separated by a wooden partition to proliferate the ‘homely’ vibe for the users. The dining room is extremely voguish with a dark brown colored marble table acting as a contrast to the off-white flooring amalgamated with a wooden bar cabinet which complements the table. The living room has been kept simple with beige colored couch along with a grey chair perhaps to break the uniformity. The modular kitchen uses various light and sober colored laminates, wood and tiles. All four bedrooms comprises of extensive wood work in overhead ceilings, walls, shelves and wardrobes. The ceilings are well lit all over the apartment and the ambient lighting sets a modern day-classy tone. An empty space in every nook and corner of the apartment has been cleverly highlighted with distinct features that catch the eye.

The enormity of height is reduced with the introduction of double layer false ceiling to create proportionately balanced volume. The furniture used has a classy modern design, with straight lines and edges to match the simplistic décor. The necessary illumination has been provided by the lights on the over head ceilings and not on the walls.

The color theme is very succulent where a combination of light and sober colors has been used on the walls to keep it as simple as possible. There is a white undertone that can be seen around the place with a combined shade of yellow, beige, brown, grey, black, blue and different colored wood in both light tones and dark. Since wood has been used in most of the furniture, there is a brown overtone which gives the place a very warm and earthy feel. Some other elements which have been used extensively in the making are a coalition of laminates, woods, tiles, stones and sometimes gypsum.

An quaint amalgamation created by the different sectors of the layout, influence the intimate vibe of the schema. The design, thus incorporates, luxury with affordability, contemporary with ingenuity, reflecting the concept of ‘client-centric’ designs.
