The lush velvet sofa is by JHID in collaboration with Master Furniture Makers and Trio Upholstery; the coffee table is another collaboration with Master Furniture Makers. The fireplace features surround tiles by Pratt and Larson.

A peek into the butler's pantry reveals vertically oriented pink tile, a choice that Sandy says they could never get a client to bite on.

The Invisacook induction range sits beneath the porcelain countertops, giving the couple, who love to cook together, a few extra feet of prep space. The architects removed the original hinges on the cabinets, replacing them with a hidden version that modernizes the look.

A custom shelf in the kitchen doubles as a pot rack, and a thoughtfully placed roll of butcher paper is a favorite drawing spot for the couple's young daughter.
