Michael Stars Malibu Store
Conversion of a Ralph Lauren store into the Malibu California location for Michael Stars a Manhattan Beach clothing store chain with locations throughout the country. Located in the Malibu Country Mart shopping center close to the Pacific Ocean and great local surfing. The interior of the store was kept light and beach friendly. Lead Architect for Design Platform was Caroline Wilding. All photography by David Lauer.
Store interior with custom fixtures and wall built-ins by Platform Workshop. White oak beams, pine display walls and cabinets, high gloss white tables with custom made legs by Gulley Metal Services.
Cash wrap area and custom made display wall behind. Floor to ceiling display fixtures were custom designed and built for Michael Stars by Design Platform.
