Launchpad

Rowland+Broughton assisted Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities and Dance Initiative, two Carbondale based non-profits, successfully acquire a lease for the old Carbondale Public Library. Architects for the project, R+B designed a beautiful multi-purpose space for the movement arts. The Launchpad features two professional grade performing arts studios, art gallery, promenade, and a boutique. Equipped with spring-loaded Harlequin dance floors, the 1,150 sq ft, light filled studio space is accentuated with multi-story soaring ceilings punctuated by skylights fit to hold dangling silks for aerial performers and circus classes.
