A lush nursery adjacent to the property provides green views and a sense of connection to the outdoors.

Each Oppenheim residence at Botaniko Weston features a modern interior design scheme by V Starr, the interior design firm led by Venus Williams.

The open kitchen was built by Hammerwell of Boulder, an interior/exterior building firm. The corner lot is set back from the street and doesn’t overpower surrounding homes, per strict residential codes and the careful execution of the Arch 11/Hammerwell team.

The Art Shed's interior takes advantage of long, flat walls, and high ceilings.

The house's L shape permits a considerable courtyard, and plenty of space for lounging behind the rain screen. The stairs sit at the intersection of the two volumes and lead down into the more social of the two: the dining room, living room, and music room.

An enclosed courtyard, bordred by ipe, is arguably the most distinctive feature of the house that the Phil Kean Design Group created for Adriana De Azevedo, Daniel Coelho, and their two daughters in Winter Park, Florida.

The majority of windows are on the south facade to optimize solar gain.

The centerpiece of the addition is a new anthracite “iron lace” staircase, which was loosely inspired by wooden circle motifs found in the house’s original entryway.

An interior glass courtyard anchors the central living areas—the dining room, foyer, living room, and kitchen all circulate a living tree. This was installed for natural light and to reinforce a connection between the indoors and outdoors.

The living and dining room look out to the central courtyard, promoting indoor/outdoor living. Here, five doors slide into a pocket in the wall to create a nearly 23-foot-wide opening on one side looking into the garden. Another set on the opposite side enhances cross ventilation.
