Comprised of three conjoined rectilinear structures with generous glazing and full-height windows, Villa Caetana allows guests to comfortably enjoy everything about its tranquil natural surroundings, both indoors and out.

The multigenerational abode by Höweler + Yoon Architecture embraces its sylvan setting through floor-to-ceiling glass walls and generously sized terraces on the first and second stories.

When Moser first arrived on the site, the original home had almost no good views of the neighboring Saxon Woods. The solution was to build expansive Low-E windows to enjoy views of the woods.

To compliment the house’s timber frame and its extensive ceiling decking, the team chose to line the substantial window wall with a pine treatment that would give them the freedom to combine various size units.

The structure's white stucco second story nods to the architecture of traditional tree houses and is used as sleeping quarters for the owner’s children. The leaves of the central oak tree can be seen peaking out above the façade.
